Species List

For more information on the species at the Jepson Prairie Preserve, a handbook is available. This book has many illustrations of the species seen at Jepson Prairie. It describes the habitat and appearance of many species and identifies the rare and endangered species at the preserve. It also gives a brief history of the area, current management and research, and lists further recommended reading. The handbook is available for $10.00.
