This experimental monitoring system is designed to replicate a traditional pit trap design using cameras to replace pit traps. This will allow for 24/7 monitoring of the area. An Axis Video Server streams video constantly and images are FTPed to a campus server when the motion detection is triggered. Click here for images that have been recorded.

To view video images in Microsoft Internet Explorer, you need to download Axis Media Control (AMC) applet available at http://www.axis.com/techsup/software/amc/index.htm. Contact Shane for the password and log on here for live viewing.
